Always curious and learning, mostly self-taught, I've been carrying around art supplies most of my life, and playing with colour is what pleases me the most. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, primarily, and part-time in Portland Oregon, and I've had significant chapters of my life in many other place; Alaska, California, West Virginia, Austria, Thailand, etc. I draw inspiration, wonder and awe from paying attention to the present moment, and always find something beautiful to create and attend to, even in the midst of sorrows. For over 30 years I has been creating art in one form or another, and many of my pieces live in private collections around the world.
